a copywriting + branding strategy studio

Where fearless folks
come to catch like wildfire.

As much as I'd love to assume that you've landed here to cozy up with little ol' me... I'm going to take a wild guess that you've arrived, because you followed your intuition relentlessly and have something electric to share with the world.

YET, despite your drive and unapologetic attitude, your current DIY habits just aren't really showing up and turning heads like you hoped. Right? Right.

Whether you're coming down from one of your "I didn't sign up for this storytelling madness" episodes (please pour a glass of sauv!) OR you understand the power of establishing a consistent, personality-packed tone-of-voice throughout your brand messaging but need a Bonnie to your Clyde, I am here to catch you.

You see, I love writing. Waking up to a No.2 pencil and locking eyes with a blank page is my muse. But the one thing I love more than pairing words with intentional strategy is making good shit happen for you as you follow the art you've been called to create.

Because your brand story is dying to extract beauty from the mundane and serve where it matters most.

Here at Lady Folk, I am intentional in my collaborations. I treat my clients like I do my closest relationships. Not only because I want to revel in an open and honest environment, but because I want us both to bloom as creatives because of it (ahem - all while you create opportunity, land your great white buffaloes and get out and adventure longer).

making muses outta:

Snail mail, dance circles, shared bourbon, deep conversations + a night sky full of stars.

+ that's my cue.

Well, that makes two of us.

howdy folks, i'm

chelsea

A contagious copywriter and branding strategist rooted in the wilds of Wyoming.

You see, I've always been a fool for words, branding and divine relationships. After graduating with a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Wyoming, I packed my bags and headed across state lines to Denver where I was the editor of an award-winning bridal magazine for over three years. From copywriting, editing and overseeing the publication of over 27 nationally distributed print magazines to countless editorial shoots and collaborations with women-owned small businesses across the Rockies in-between, it was an experience that defined my story.

Fast forward two years and a collection of freelance social media and copywriting gigs later, and I am rooted back in my hometown of Casper, Wyoming doing what I've always dreamed of - locking arms with ambitious folks as they artfully tell their story (and cash fat checks) through sexy strategy and the written word.

LOVES: sisterhood, mountain biking, Girls gotta eat, old photographs, self help anything + witty headlines.

From copywriting, editing and overseeing the release of over 27 nationally distributed print magazines to countless editorial shoots and collaborations in-between, it was an experience that defined my purpose. Back then I thought it was all about love (guilty hopeless romantic!), when now I know it was more about ambitious women challenging the status quo and creating something bigger than themselves.

got 99 problems?

don't let
content be one.

You're doing it all, girlfriend. And it shows! As a woman who wears many hats, it's easy to ghost your content creating habits when you have 1000x other things to show up for (like empowering a team or raising your littles to be good humans). I get it. However, what if I told you that you weren't alone in this? What if I told you that I'm here to fight for you and your brand so you can get back to what matters most?

come a little

closer.
