The hold that Venoma has on me. 

Back in 2023, Shelly hired Amy of Unbridled Form and I to rebrand her luxury Memphis Boudoir Photography Studio from Petals & Lace Boudoir into something more reflective and expansive. 

You see, Petals and Lace had carried her gracefully through the first years of entrepreneurship. However, after finding confidence in her style, she was ready to unravel the deeper identity behind her purpose. 

So we did just that! 

We started with a name. Shelly wanted a name that was timeless like Vogue yet soft and hypnotic like the women she made art from. After wordplay, a naming session, and story extraction, we landed on Venoma Artistry. It was luxe, artistic, and one-of-a-kind. It also embodied the symbol of a snake. A skin shedding and striking that all of her boudoir clients could relate to! The rest took shape from there! 

Through messaging, website copywriting, and email sequences; we built a world around Venoma - in partnership with Unbridled Form on design. 

The end result? An all-encompassing presence that not only reflected Shelly back to herself; but met the visceral needs and desires of her clients.

We gave them a return, a mirror, they could actually step into. In the studio and wherever their story and body took them after! 

The launch struck. Her community noticed. 

Two years later she hired me again to not only refresh her messaging; but to write her booking guide copy. Because she knew the power of having storyteling and emotive copy on every corner of her client experience. 

A copwriter and brand messaging strategists actual heaven. 

Shelly thank you for trust falling into this and bringing me into your art. We started as partners and have grown into good friends, and it's collaborations like this that always ground me in the goodness of womanhood and the work we do... the villages we create through our businesses.
