Kara was sent my way from Amy of Unbridled Form. 

The two had worked together on building a world around Deja Revel visually, and Kara finally felt like she had the bone deep strategy and identity to step into her voice as she deserved. 

So we locked arms on brand messaging. 

I not only held up a mirror for Kara to help her remember her daring yet soft and sensual voice and brand story; but we pointed out what her community of women are actually feeling and experiencing when they come to her for a boudoir photography session. 

What surfaced was brand messaging strategy centered around a return. A remembering of what women are made of. A homecoming to the body that carries her, the liberation she can feel stirring in her gut, and the fully expressed version of her - unbothered, confident in her skin, and hot AF on and off the camera. 

Giving women the permission to stop staying small in the past version of themselves they had to survive, embrace their flaws and story, and come undone as the woman they're becoming. 

Upon delivery, Kara hired me right back for website copy and SEO strategy. Because it was not only a reflection of her, but the messaging, the words, were big enough to hold her people too. & the emotional core was begging to drip off of every page, every newsletter, every interaction. So every woman could feel what it meant to be revealed and preserved as art - in the studio and in the streets.

You know, I'm always in awe of the timing of my projects, and this was one of them. Kara was the first brand messaging and copywriting client I took on after having my first daughter. & although I acted as a vessel for the words to come through, I secretly needed the message just as much as her community did. 

Working with Kara not only helped me remember what I'm made of and love my body for how she's carried me; but it reminded me just how important it is for woman to see themselves through mediums like boudoir photography. We truly are walking art pieces and miracles and deserve to feel genuinely beautiful - in every season as we soften and shift into who we're meant to become.
